I had to click the extension's icon on the extension toolbar instead of clicking the extension's translate icon that shows up on the page when you select text.You can work around it yourself if you want.Goto the URL opera://extensions, turn on developer mode, click "details" for the Google Translate extension and take note of its ID.Then, goto the URL opera://about, take note of the "profile" path and close Opera.Then, in Windows Explorer (File Explorer) (with extensions and hidden items enabled under View -> Show), browse to your profile folder (which should be "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Default\Extensions"). Then, go into the folder with the ID you took note of earlier.You'll then see a version folder. Right-click the version folder, choose "copy", right-click on your desktop and choose "paste". Honestly I thought that I would NEVER switch browser since I really like Chrome. Anyhow, Opera took me by storm and is now my main browser. I LOVE it.Anyhow, there is just one thing that I'd like to fix, with an extension or something. Don't think I haven't tried any, I tried basically all translation extensions there are. Not a SINGLE ONE translates the web page the same way Chrome does.Maybe I should explain how Chrome does it first for you guys who don't know how it works. It's really simple, let's say you enter a Russian site with Russian Cyrillic script, you just right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Translate to English" and EVERYTHING on the site is being translated. Even drop-down menus, buttons and so on.Back to the translation extensions for Opera. Either they open a popup which you have to copy the text into and translate (which in my opinion feels rather useless since you can just go to Google Translate for example), or they open a new tab which isn't keeping me logged in and I can't log in since the URL becomes (I'm just taking an example): Trance&sl=auto&tl=enThis is basically on which I assume is why I'm getting logged out. If I try to log in I'm just redirected to a completely blank page.SO, to the main point, is there an extension (or maybe an option in the settings) which lets you translate a full page (without opening a new tab or popup)?I hope I presented enough information for you to undertanda what I mean. I can do better on my own.It did show up until today and now it pops up when I access any foreign language page.I read on the internet to go into Chrome, well, I don't have Chrome, I have Opera. Install this extension ( in a normal website search for the extension in the toolbar.
