Pepper-Flash Player (AGAIN) rated by 0 users Fri, Oct 12 2012 4:30 PM (20 replies) I see that there is now a pop-up when you enter a game mode telling you that you have pepper-flash player enabled and directing you to an article telling you to disable it. BRAVO!However, When I looked, there is only one plugin that lists the Pepper-Flash plugin and that is the Flash Player itself which is required for the application to run.Anyway, I did as instructed and disabled the plugin that lists pepper-flash in the location and continued to play the game. It seemed to work OK and my clicks were more precise. But when I finished the game, I closed the game screen. Later, when I wanted to play another game, all I got was a blank black window with a little icon alluding to Flash Player. This tells me that because I have disabled pepper flash player (and in turn Flash Player itself), the application no longer works. So I went in and enabled Pepper-flash Player and tried it again and got the game screen again with the pop-up regarding disabling Pepper-flash.So How do I disable Pepper-Flash Player without disabling Flash Player entirely? spitlist:So How do I disable Pepper-Flash Player without disabling Flash Player entirely?Hey spitlist, sorry for any confusion :pHere is a handy guide with a video explaining how to correctly disable the proper version of Flash. If you have any questions about the process, let me know and I'll do my best to help you :)Stay classy,-WGTpizza Yeah, I got that. That is how I disabled the plugin. But it disables all of the Flash Player, not just the Pepper Flash. And since Flash Player is required to run WGT games, they no longer run until I enable the Pepper-Flash plugin. There is only one plugin listed that contains the flash player. Disabling it does not allow the game to work. spitlist:Yeah, I got thatSo you watched the video? Probably not, because it explains exactly how to disable the version(s) with pepper flash, and how to leave the other versions enabled.Watch the video and see if that clarifies things for you. If not, I'll be glad to help :)Stay classy,-WGTpizza I DID in fact watch the video. DID you read my message? Probably not because I clearly stated that I was able to disable the Pepper-Flash. But it also disables The Flash Player. What I am trying to find out is how to disable Pepper-flash without also disabling the Flash Player which is required to run the WGT application. Hot Network Questions Determine Centrosymmetric String Hi,The flash version on our Intel Xeon Phi appears to be 2.1.01.0372. According to the MPSS readme, one of the prerequisites for updating the flash is "Starting version of Flash must be >= 375, if not, contact your Intel support representative". I have two questions regarding this:1. Is it safe to continue flashing the Xeon Phi in spite of the older flash version currently on the device? If not, what should be done?2. Mar 19, 2012 139 0 10,680 #1 I have an ASRock 970 Extreme3 motherboard and some games give me the BSoD. Some one of a Valve forums suggested updating my BIOS. That is the page for my mobo, but I don't know if I should instant flash. This article, says that the instant flash software will detect my mobo model and only use BIOS updates from my model? If this is true, does it ensure that I have the right BIOS update model and won't 'kill' my mobo? Thanks for any help Sep 12, 2011 7,060 0 27,960 #2 Don't bump your posts. All "instant flash" is is their way of checking that the BIOS is compatible. its clearly stated in what you linked. but it doesn't matter at all. download the most recent BIOS for your board and flash it.
