TurboFTP is a Windows secure FTP and SFTP client. It has an intuitive user interface and allows you to manipulate and exchange files through secure file transfer protocols while providing managed FTP capabilities to automate FTP/SFTP and data-centric business processes. It also has built-in Open PGP capabilities to automate PGP encryption and decryption of sensitive files. FTP File Transfer is one of the most reliable ways of sharing and transferring vast amounts of data. FTP file transfer can be protected with SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer, including implicit/explicit SSL/TLS). SFTP is another secure file transfer protocol that generally runs on top of an SSH (Secure Shell) layer. Unlike FTP, SFTP doesn't require a separate data channel and is easier to get through firewalls.TurboFTP Sync Service Module provides a reliable, scalable, and high-performance FTP/SFTP file replication service based on TurboFTP's proven technology, helping you distribute data across the network efficiently and securely. Security in TransitSecure file transfer protected with FTPS over SSL/TLS(Transport Layer Security) or SFTP over SSH2. SSL protocols and cipher suite for each remote server are configurable, and so are SSH ciphers and algorithms. FIPS 140-2 mode can be enabled.Scheduled File SynchronizationThe built-in Sync Service Module runs scheduled FTP and SFTP transfers and automates folder synchronization with one of the predefined schemes in NT service. An E-mail report can be sent upon task completion, and an external program can be triggered for each file transferred.Process AutomationTrigger external program or script for further processing of each file downloaded or uploaded. Trying to decrypt files encrypted by Symantec Encryption Desktop - (3031:input does not contain PGP data) Posted Mar 28, 2018 08:17 AM Hello!I am trying to decrypt some files which were encrypted by Symantec Encryption Desktop by utilizing PGP Command Line.I have exported the private and public key in SED and imported it in PGP Coammand Line. This is what I get when I try to decrypt:pgp --decrypt --input "test.one" --passphrase "foobar"Restult:test.one:decrypt 3031:input does not contain PGP dataThe file is encrpted and it does contain PGP data. I can even see it when I open the file in a text editor:...PGP Netshare ...PGP ...I also tried with --symmetric-passphrase instead - same result. Any hints for me?Thanks a lot in advance and best regards Stephan 2. RE: Trying to decrypt files encrypted by Symantec Encryption Desktop - (3031:input does not contain PGP data) Best Answer Posted Mar 28, 2018 11:40 AM Hi Stephan,I don't think that PGP Command Line can decrypt NetShare encrypted files. You would need to use the pgpnetshare.exe to decrypt that on a system that has access to do so. For internal collaboration, PGP NetShare may still work. For external file transfers, PGP Command Line may work. For hybrid scenarios, it sometimes makes sense to use both.Note that the command line capabilities in Symantec Encryption Desktop (via pgpnetshare.exe) are a feature of the NetShare/FileShare component of Symantec Encryption Desktop and are not related to the PGP Command Line product (most noticeably the file formats are different). Can you provide more information about what you are trying to accomplish?- Maren 3.
